Alex Aiello is an educator and activist who grew up in New York City. Alex graduated from Davidson College in 2021, with an Honors thesis in Sociology and Gender and Sexuality Studies titled: “Consent and Pleasure in College Student’s Sexual Encounters.”
After college, Alex returned to New York City and began working as a Community Educator at dating abuse prevention organizations, facilitating trainings, workshops, and healing circles in collaboration with local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations.
In August 2025, Alex relocated to Bloomington, Indiana, where they continue to explore the intersections of gender, sexuality, interpersonal violence, and healing through research, teaching, and community engagement. In their spare time, Alex can be found doing or teaching yoga, reading lesbian novels, writing to pen pals, and bullet journaling.
